Arguing the affirmative is Steve Moore, Senior Visiting Fellow in Economics at The Heritage Foundation and author of The Trump Economic Miracle: And the Plan to Unleash Prosperity Again. Arguing the negative is Stephanie Kelton, Professor of Economics and Public Policy at Stony Brook University, former Chief Economist on the U.S. Senate Budget Committee, and author of The Deficit Myth.
